CREATING OPPORTUNITIES TOGETHER
Sydney Film School teams up with the ClassMovies Program to preserve the school memories for thousands of Australian kids and their parents and to offer the valuable job opportunity to its graduates.
Created in 2004 by Phillip Lewis, ClassMovies is a visionary project based on the idea of capturing the everyday classroom life of school children in movies. It brings the filmmaking into the classrooms of primary and secondary schools across Australia where teachers and students join their forces to film a week of their class life and to capture the priceless school memories into a practical DVD format that can be enjoyed by students and their families in many years to come.
Each class audio-visual ‘album’ is created in 60 minute filming sessions and then edited by professional film industry editors. Sydney Film School and ClassMovies invite the Sydney Film School graduates to apply to join the Class Movies editing team and help capture invaluable childhood memories forever.
