Industry Advisory Board
The Sydney Film School Industry Advisory Board (IAB) represents and supports the Sydney Film School graduates as they move from the school into the industry.
Operating as a body within Sydney Film School, IAB’s role and mission is to empower the current students and the Alumni of the Sydney Film School for successful careers in the Film, Television and Media industries.
By fostering a sense of community between the school, the students, the alumni and friends of the school, through developing relationships and establishing lifelong connections promoted through academic, professional, and social endeavours, the IAB tirelessly works on making the SFS Alumni network the best supported and most well connected in the world.
This is being achieved via IAB’s supportive advice and critical action to assist the SFS staying industry relevant; and students and alumni staying industry connected. The IAB works closely with, and provides assistance to, the SFS Board to achieve this aim.
IAB’s goal is to help you make that leap into film success!
Since its inception in 2009 IAB has organised a number of free presentations and workshops, industry events and ‘Careers in Film’ panel discussions and has been actively involved in providing film work opportunities and offering support to graduate film projects.
