Producing
"Most students want to direct and I do my best to convince them that producing is infinitely more challenging and satisfying. You get to follow a project from concept stage through to distribution and exhibition.
You’re responsible for the overall quality control of the film – as both artistic endeavour and marketable commodity. You can, and should, contribute to all the major creative decisions that determine the shape of the final film.
You’re the team leader who harnesses the collective creative energies of the team and creates the environment in which they can do their best work." Says Jenny Day - Producer
